Known as the Godzilla in Japan, the GTR has set a reputation as one of the best supercar that money can buy. Now known as GTR, this current version is available worldwide, unlike its predecessor which is available as JDM (Japan Domestice Model). This white GTR was sent to us for a 3-step detailing. As white colour is a difficult colour to be maintained, the 3-step detailing involves having the GTR to be detailed using cleaner wax, so that stains and grime which are more obvious on a white paint are removed. With a final step of coating the GTR with Meguairs Tech Wax, the GTR certainly looks shiny while having the paint protected.

Professional and Dedicated Staffs
Since the opening of Autovogue from September 2008, the success of Autovogue wouldn't be possible if it weren't for our professional and dedicated staffs. Only 1 of 3 had prior experience in the detailing industry, anyways all 3 were put through the rigorous training from our suppliers, Meguairs and Osren. Now all 3 of them are professional detailers with experience.
Detailing a Bentley Continental GT
The most expensive car detailed by Autovogue so far. Costing a huge RM1.8 million when new, the Bentley over its years has its paint showing signs of swirling marks and slight water spots. As with most exotic cars that are parked mainly away from the rays of the sun, the car is still in good condition but nothing beats it having a new car feel to it.
Obviously meticulous care is a norm to prepare whatever car that will be detailed. From the moment when the GT is cleaned, right up to having the car finally detailed, it took us 6-7 hours to have it detailed and at the very same, interior upholetery. Put it simply, the owner just love his Bentley as the car looks more glossy and reflective without any flaws!

Top to Toe Car Washing Techniques
1) Parked or drive your car under direct sunlight to cool down before washing. Ensure car surface is cool to touch and under a shade. Avoid washing your car directly under the sun. Heat from sunlight causes the shampoo and water to dry up easily, which increases the possibility of unwanted spots & deposits appearing on the paint work.
2) Never use other detergents besides quality car shampoo. A quality car wash shampoo has ph balanced solution with anti rust properties. In addition, the shampoo would gently clean tough dirt with its rich suds that helps to lift dirt off from the paint work. Normally, the car shampoo would have to be diluted and be sure that it is reasonably soapy.
3) Generous amount of water is sprayed onto the car's paint work via a water hose. Moderate water pressure from the water hose ensures loose dirt and surface contaminants are rinsed off from the paint work. This is to ensure the minimal amount of dirt and contaminant are picked up by the washing mitt during washing that might scratch the paint work. Start rinsing from the roof of your car and to other parts of the car.
4) Practice 2-bucket system throughout the process. One should be for the washing solution and the other consisting of clear water that is used to rinse the mitt between applications. This practice keeps the mitt away from mixing the dirt to the shampoo which would reduce the chance of dirt particles damaging the paint surface. For best results, rinse the mitt regularly.
5) It is necessary to use different detergent and washing tools to wash the wheels. Wheel cleaning shampoo, which has degreasing properties is able to remove brake dust and road grime from the wheels. A washing tool like wheel brush is used on hard to reach areas on the wheel.
6) Rinse the car all over again with same method mentioned above. Ensure no suds remains on the car body.
7) Claying is to remove stubborn surface contaminants. A claying bar is used to remove acid rain etches, moderate abrasions, bird droppings and light oxidation. It is used with water as a lubricator and is applied with light pressure throughout the car surface to ensure a smooth and streak free surface.
8) Tar spot removal is to remove stubborn tar spots which usually bonded at the lower body of your car.
9) Immediately wipe off remaining water with 100 % cotton drying towel. Do not air dry the car as to prevent water spots.

Gathering of 3 Mitsubishi Clubs: LancerGT Club, Mitsubishi Evolution Owners Club & Galant VR-4 Club
Gathering of 3 Mitsubishi Clubs: LancerGT Club, Mitsubishi Evolution Owners Club & Galant VR-4 Club
A big shoutout to Bernard from MEOC for lending his Mitsubishi Evo 6 to AutoVogue to showcase our detailing expertise. From the picture, you can see the Evo 6 has a masking tape in the center to show the difference of a detailed paint than the non-detailed paint.
Bernard's Evo paint condition has oxidised and was pretty much exposed to sun all day and not to mention industrial contamination coming from the worksites that he visits, he's an engineer by the way. The body paint was partially detailed to show that the paint could be restored instead of sending it to the paintshop for a fresh coat of paint.
As part of the vendor on the gathering that was held at Shah Alam's go-kart track, we received many offers from car owners who want to get their car detailed. Once again, a big thanks to Bernard...

3-step maintenance exterior protection
Maintenance is important to uphold the car paint work to a glistening shine and oxidation free surface. Thus, a 3 step polish is recommended for car owners to maintain their car at its perfect condition.
1st step – claying which uses a plasticine like material to remove dirt, grime and debris from the exterior surface of your car
2nd step - a cleaning polish is applied using a buffer which further cleans and condition the paint surface to a high gloss finish.
3rd step - a layer of sealant or wax is applied that provides long lasting clear coat that is water repellent and protects your beloved car paint. Sealant and wax seals up your cars and block out the damaging pollutants that discolor and oxidize your car paint.
